Update 28th January 2026

We have unfortunately been affected by the recent heavy rain and flooding in recent weeks at Penwartha Cottages and have taken the decision to close until the end of April as a precautionary measure.

Thankfully, the properties are relatively safe from the floodwaters at the moment, however the groundwater has risen to levels not experienced before and has affected the garden, driveway, parking and our sanitation facilties.

We are putting measures in place to deal with these issues in the short and long term and will keep you posted on any updates.

Currently, bookings for the periods from May 2026 onwards will be honoured, but may be subject to change depending upon progress. A full refund shall be made for any unexpected cancellations.

In the meantime, we wish all of our customers the very best and hope to be re-open very soon!
